Why am I reacting to your Mint and Spring Flowers Body Wash?
This product is a popular seller so it’s not pleasant when we hear some people aren’t having the best experience and have had a reaction.
Our team have been in touch with our supplier to confirm that the levels of oils are used at very low and safe levels. However, despite this, we understand some people can still react to naturally derived ingredients even if they’re used at low levels compared to the rest of the ingredients. We always encourage patch testing before use which is in line with industry standards for personal care products.
Do Thankyou product contain micro beads?
Thankyou chooses to use naturally derived exfoliants like pumice and dried tea leaves instead of micro beads.

Our personal care products are not tested for ‘Wheat or Gluten’ presence and therefore unconfirmed.
Although we don’t use wheat in our products, they are manufactured in an environment where there could be potential traces of wheat/gluten so we encourage those who are concerned to patch test first on the skin for peace of mind.
Are there any actual almonds in your 'Botanical Sweet Orange & Almond' hand wash?
It does contain sweet almond oil, therefore it would be at the user’s discretion on whether or not they would patch test this before use based on the severity of their allergy.
This ingredient is highlighted in the ingredient list as a potential allergen.
Is your handwash antibacterial?
Our foaming hand washes have been tested to be anti bacterial and kill 99.9% of germs. We have not had our gel hand washes tested.
What preservatives do you use in your products?
We use different preservatives across our brand, based on the formulation that needs to be stabilised.
What is ‘fragrance’ in your products?
No synthetic chemicals in our fragrances
They are a combination of natural extracts and a carrier for these extracts so that they can be added to the base formulation
The exception to this is our hand sanitiser. We use a synthetic fragrance as this is a more stable scent in the alcohol combination.
Do you use Goats Milk?
For our friends with sensitive skin, we have three products that contain goat's milk. This ingredient is sourced from farms whose practices have been approved by veterinarians and whose animal welfare and general practice are overseen by governing organisations including Dairy Food Safety Victoria, Department of Environment and Primary Industries, Environment Protection Authority Victoria and Australian Quarantine Inspection Service.
In saying that, we’re always looking for ways to lower our impact on the environment, so our product development team are working with our suppliers and manufacturers to scope what the future of these products looks like. Stay tuned!
