How are the staff at Thankyou paid?

All our staff members are paid in line with the commercial sector they work within, at the 25% lower percentile. For our wider staff, we benchmark against the commercial and not the charity sector for two reasons; Thankyou is a social enterprise, which means like any commercial business, we aim to make as much profit as possible with the difference being that our Shareholder is the Thankyou Charitable Trust that commits its funds to helping end extreme poverty. We exist all-for the purpose of helping end extreme poverty. We aren't comparable to a charity in our operations.

To achieve an accurate benchmark, we looked to benchmarking data for validation and compared within the 25th percentile (lower end) for each role to achieve a median. Because we believe in honouring our team for the great work they do, Thankyou employees also have access to salary sacrificing and other financial benefits.
