Thankyou has a vulnerable people’s protection policy and media representation guidelines in place to protect the people we serve, which covers and protects vulnerable groups such as children. As part of the media representation policy, Thankyou only uses images or footage that portray children who are fully clothed and only shares images or footage of people who have given consent. According to the policy, any promotional images of children must not convey the village name. In addition, all Thankyou staff members who travel to visit projects have a valid Working with Children Check. (WWCC). Our goal is to always portray people in an empowering manner, never as poor recipients, but rather change agents.
