Is your packaging sustainable? What is the grade of plastic packaging used? What is the PCR content?

Our impact on the environment is extremely important to us and over the years we’ve taken great steps to reduce our footprint. Thankyou products contain varying grades of plastic resins (different plastics which have the ability to be recycled). This varies from product to product and can be found at the base of our products, where you will see a mobius recycle symbol, and a resin number included, defining which resin is used for the particular product. 

A key win for us in this area has been ensuring our bottles are 100% recyclable. Unfortunately, while pumps contain small parts that currently can't be easily separated for kerbside recycling, our 1L hand wash refills provide an option to keep using your hand wash bottle and pump over and over again - something we love is that when someone uses our 1L refill instead of two 500ml hand washes, they're using 54% less plastic. In terms of our PCR content, this again varies from product to product. Excitingly, Thankyou is now a recent signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation, where we have a responsible business goal to continuously improve our product packaging by working closely with our suppliers towards sustainable packaging solutions. Minimising our impact on the environment is hugely important to us, so we ensure we’re creating products that are good for you, good for humanity, and also good for our planet.
