We once had this impression too. However, over the last 14 years, we’ve watched some of the biggest companies solve complex ethical supply chain problems at an impressive scale, while seeing an increase in commitment to purpose-driven organisations. The key word in that sentence, and one of the biggest things these companies have - scale.
As an organisation we exist to make as much money as we can, all-for funding impactful change makers serving the world’s poor, we saw a major opportunity to further this mission by working with a partner (licensee) to help in this, to have a licensee make our and distribute our product, and get them out to the world.
While we’ve seen impressive growth over the last 14 years, having donated $17.57 million to impact, we started to wonder just how much we would be able to give to impact if we exist one day in over 190 countries instead of just 2. Could $17.57 million to impact, become 100s of millions?
Partnering with a licensee, or any of the ‘big’ corporates won’t change who Thankyou is or what we do. We will always exist all-for impact, and exist to help create a world where not one person lives in poverty.
