At Thankyou we work with partners who are big on impact. They collect high-quality evidence to demonstrate their approach works for the communities they are working in. They are regularly audited, and we invest significant time in reviewing each grant to assess whether vulnerable communities are being served with sustainable solutions.
We started Track Your Impact with the intent of sharing content from the projects we funded in an easy to digest, visual format that helps you see what the funding is doing. However, this requires more work by our partners in addition to the standard reporting a funder (that’s us!) requires.
Early at the start of 2020, we decided to hit hold on TYI to free up our partners’ time and resources to focus on saving lives (check out our blog post on that here). This applied to all tracked products for FY20. In September 2020, we announced a change in our giving model to cater to unrestricted funding and a robust transparency and accountability process – you can read about that in our annual letter here. While Track Your Impact as we knew it won’t be returning, our commitment to measuring impact hasn’t changed, the way we do it has.
We are fully committed to partnering with world-class organisations to work together to see the end of global poverty and sharing that work with you. At the end of each funding period, we will have unprecedented access to our partner's reporting. This level of transparency in the sector is remarkable, and we will be making this level of reporting, public to our consumers. We’ll be releasing our partner's final reports, and their milestones so you can see the difference your choice in our products is making. You’ll find these over at thankyou.co/impact
