Why didn’t you just produce more of your existing hand sanitiser range?

Like the rest of the world, 2020 didn’t start as planned. The impact that COVID-19 had on supply chains was unprecedented and it became apparent that while demand increased rapidly, global supply chains weren't prepared to respond to such a rapid increase at the same speed. While our existing hand sanitiser range is Made in Australia, like many Australian manufacturers, ours source components and raw materials from international suppliers, which means longer lead times. We have worked with our current supplier on increasing the production of our existing range, however this wasn’t going to be sufficient to meet the demand we were being asked to supply. So, we got creative and developed this Hand Sanitiser for Humanity with different components that could be sourced within the timeline getting hand sanitiser to people.
