There are a few factors that determine how long a nappy takes to break down in landfill, such as moisture levels and the environment and temperature that the nappy is placed in. Taking these variable factors into consideration, our Innovation Team focused on the factors we could control to reduce our landfill impact, which is why we designed a slimmer nappy with less wood pulp (while not compromising on absorbency). The wood pulp that we use is sourced from long-term sustainably managed forests and produced in operations that minimise the impact on air, water and land. Basically, less wood pulp = a slimmer nappy with less packaging material, waste and a smaller environmental footprint. We hope that helps with your decision.
