“Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection.”― Mark Twain
To be honest, when we look at an increasingly complex, global supply chain, it can start to feel overwhelmingly paralysing. We are under no illusions that meeting our Responsible Business Goals will be both challenging and ambitious. Sometimes, we also know that the best place is to “begin”. While we know we aren’t satisfied with our progress, here are a few examples that demonstrate our deep resolve to continuously improve and meet our responsible business goals.
- Shift to Licence Model: Our decision to shift our business to a licence model with a global product company is partly because it will allow us to partner with them to tackle responsible business goals on a global scale. These businesses have solved challenges that smaller brands are struggling to address due to a lack of scale and investment.

Big Product Decisions:
- Removing our genesis product, single-use bottled water, from our range (you can read more about this decision on our blog here!)
- Redesigning and relaunching our product packaging to provide consumers with a more sustainable offering, including refill systems intended to promote circularity and reduce waste
- Using sustainably sourced paper in our books (FSC-certified)
We are also proud of our B Corp certification and membership in the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation. We support their vision of collaboration and circularity within the packaging value chain to minimise landfill.
